The parents of a teenager who had been killed in a car accident in Southampton Twnship,Burlington county are channeling their grief into making a real change in the New Jersey law.They would like it mandatory for any drivers in a fatal accident undergo testing for alcohol and drugs.
In July 2007 17 yr old Anthony Farrace was in a Mercedes Benz driven by his girlfriend Danielle McLaughlin.She seemed to have lost control of the car as she attempted to pass a tractor trailor,crashing into a tree.Farrace died almost instantly.McLaughlin suffered injuries.She paid a fine of $200 dollars had her license suspended for about six months due to pleading careless driving. this information came from http://injurylaw.grossmanjustice.com/2009/05/articles/motor-vehichle-accidents/parents of Farrace.
